Everyday, I catch a glimpse of my dad. Funny how the mind works, ey? Just a minute ago, as I searched online for a train from Paris to Brussels I got a flashback from 2002 - me on a train from Geneva to Paris waving to my father standing on the platform. He had bought me a first class ticket so I could get comfortable and ready for my transatlantic flight back to college in the States. Typical Dad.
If he were alive, I probably would not have thought much of that memory, let alone remember it! Now, it's like coming across a gold mine! Priceless...
Oh dear, this blog looks more and more like a sniff-fest! Dad wouldn't want that... heck he'd probably say "Makagaga kele... uma loa" (Loose translation: Stop it now, crybaby!) lol
Hmmm... moving on then, ummm... I've got two trips lined up for the month of June - Paris (...alas, for work) and Barcelona! I'm superexcited about them! And I might even pop in to Brussels and see that vasti Fran for a day! Oh the life of a jetsetter...
And at the end of June, I will spend 4 glorious days in Barcelona with some crazy friends! Darn, I cannot wait!!!
Oooooh, the travel itch in me is just... itching away! LOL
