"Sometimes I think you're on crack"LOL
Oh and my dear friend said it with annoyance love cos I was being overbearingly positive about her "less than ideal" situation. Sometimes I think I'm too positive!! And it makes people want to vomit their guts out. Wow. I can remember the days when I used to roll my eyes at people like that. Though, I think I was always happy-go-lucky anyway... hmmm... no, I take that back. In those days I mostly pretended to be happy-go-lucky (and rolled my eyes at positive people cos I envied them!) but really, inside I was a bloody mess. It's been a couple of years now, and I am a completely different person.
Though, that's what life does to you huh? It throws you a couple of deaths here and there, depression, rejection, failure and fear come along and I learnt that it's about how you deal with it that matters. You can either take it lying down and whine and moan about it, or you can just stand up and take it like a good strong Samoan woman would - chin up, chest out and a loud "bring it on รง%!*?&" in Samoan (sounds even more ferocious than in English!) LOL.
Thank goodness I come from a family of crazy, loud, proud and amazingly strong women. And thank God for my faith.
