I got me a new apartment...

...and it is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Today's been a bloody hectic, but good day. I spent all night last night cleaning up my room at Maria's (where I've been for 2.5 years - wow!) and packing up all my stuff. It's crazy how much you accumulate over time. Its also been good for me soul to sort out my stuff and finding all these tidbits I kept to remind me of events (rugby matches, Cirque du Soleil), activities (Passion of the Christ ticket stub, going up Mt Titlis with Patch in Luzern, going to Rapperswill to support Malo's 26km race) and trips (Brazil, India, Kenya etc). Good memories man! Good memories...

Come Saturday morning, everything was packed and ready to go. Thank God for Jill and her family van. It took only one trip to get all my stuff from Founex/Bossey to my new place. All that's left are bags of clothes for Salvation Army.

I cant contain my excitement over having a place of my own. I mean, for 27 years, Ive lived with family and friends and now, its just me, myself and I. I know it'll be awesome. In fact, if Im not careful, I can totally see myself becoming a homebody and only coming out to go to work and thats it. :P

Although... I will miss Maria terribly. She's been a second mother to me and has given me so much - her home, her friendship, her wisdom, her experiences. Everything. I hope I have done right by her and I will always be grateful for her love and support!

After moving we did some cleaning up and I got a better feel for the look I wanted - so its slowly getting there. I just wished I had more money, cos I realized last night, I would have to cut down on my travelling if I want to have a nice looking apartment. LOL. Oh man, the choices the choices... I guess itll be one trip a month then. Damnit. :P

Went out and played rugby touch with friends and ended the day with some babysitting (like right now). So as you can imagine, Im totally gonners.

And that's my cue to say... a bientot! :)
