Someone once told me...

I got sad yesterday, thinking of someone's "potential good". He could do so much. He has so much talent. He's smart. He's kind. He's caring. He has it in him to be something more than he is now... and I see it! I wish I could just wring it out of him... and smack him up the head... and shake him silly and say to him "Damnit, be who you're meant to be!!!! Stop being afraid! Make the most of the opportunities in your life!!!!!!!!!!!!"

...but it's not my journey. It's his...though I will never stop hoping... never!
