DAY FOUR...

...List 15 songs that represent your life's soundtrack

When I read today's blog topic, I was like....

...say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

15 songs? Are you kidding me? My life has been so colourful that you would need 15000 songs to rep my life's soundtrack! Dang....

(and shuddit! this is my blog I can praise myself...)

...but fine, whatever - here you go:

1. Thriller - Michael Jackson I was only 5 years old when the video came out in Fiji and the USP students staying with us used to scare the crap outta me by playing this video. RIP MJ!

2. Return to Innocence - Engima I fell in love the FIRST time I heard it. Memorized every word the 2nd time round. Yes, even the eerie chant.

3. End of the Road - Boys II Men Come on! how can this NOT be on your list... when it first came out, I kinda thought wow, would be cool to go through this. And now that I've been through some of it... bittersweet I tell ya and NOT worth it!

The next four songs represent a darker part of my life, and they also represent what saved me from a really bad fate. Seriously, thank God for music!!!
4. So far away - Staind
5. Broken - Seether
6. Numb - Linkin Park
7. Like a Stone - Audioslave

8. Living on a prayer - Bon Jovi If I'm out dancing, this song MUST be played before my night is complete...

9. Ou te tagi lo'u tama My dad's favourite hymn because it was the only hymn he could sing in baritone perfectly. He was most of the time absolutely tone deaf. (I miss him so much!)

10. Ie lavalava This represents all the bloody times I had to do the taualuga!!!

11. Sonata in C Major - Mozart Wasted many play hours learning it on the piano. Hmmm I wonder if I can still play it...

12. Somewhere over the rainbow - Judy Garland (& recently Israel Kamakamawhatever) Self-explanatory!

13. If - Janet Jackson My oh-em-gee-shes-singing-about-graphic-sex song (oh I was am so innocent!)

14. California Love - Tupac O for awesome! and I NEVER get tired of dancing to it! ;)

15. Jagged little pill (the whole blooming album!) - Alanis Morisette Whaaat? I can't separate these songs - they come as ONE! Blooming fantastic album too!

Oh gosh! I just feel like I've betrayed all the other great songs in my life (sorry songs!)
