...I've been reflecting A LOT about my priorities and goals in life. 10 years ago, I had it all planned out - do pre-med, get into med school, work a couple of years while in the States, get rich, get settled and have 18 kids (lol!)
My my how life throws you a million curveballs and you're on a completely different pathway. I wouldn't have it any other way though and am so grateful for the experiences I've had so far... they've all taught me one thing - that power, money and reputation don't mean shit. At the end of the day, we all die and I doubt any of what we've amounted in these three things go with us whereever it is dead people go to.... if at all! lol
And what actually matters is how much love you've given to people and people have given to you... and no matter how low things may get, or how high, if you're loved - you're in good shape.
Anyway, you may wonder the whole pondering came from but it's probably because I've just made some big decisions and was reflecting on whether they serve my whole love and be loved motto. So far I think they do...
And so I leave you with the great words of a great man President Obama:
"We recognise our own mortality and are reminded that in the fleeting time we have on this earth that what matters is not wealth or status or power, or fame - but rather, how well we have loved, and what small part we have played in bettering the lives of others."

Whatever big decisions youve made, I am certain that you will come out wiser and happier!!
Keep up the great work, for the sake of those (like me) who want to do it but dont have the edge nor drive to make it happen!!!
