...til Christmas. YIKES! Where has this year gone? Lawd have mercy!!!
I decided last month not to go home for Christmas. It was a really tough decision but after years of non-stop travel I really and I mean REALLY need rest i.e. I badly need sleep, quiet time, relaxation time, lots of pampering and some ME time! And Samoa will definitely NOT be providing any of that. It will be filled with love of course, but it will be a non-stop roller-coaster of visiting family, drinking/lunching/gossiping with friends, running around doing errands, going to church, choir practice, youth practice and of course, the random faalavelave which pops up every time I'm home. And let's not forget Xmas day AND New Year'seve! Those days are killers on their own... lol
So I plan on sitting my prettybig muli in Geneva and having a white Christmas with my Geneva family. I'll be sleeping A LOT, watching LOTS of movies, going to the spa OFTEN and reading MANY books... or just do absolutely NOTHING!!!!!
On the down side of it, I know I'll miss my Mum and family on Christmas day but if I'm to have a great start to 2012, which will be another BIG year for me, I'm gonna need all the R&R I can get!!

I want that white christmas for a change!!! we'll join you on xmas day when i win the lotto this weekend! ...sounds like you have a pretty good plan happening...rest rest and rejuvenate for 2012!
