Day Four...

...gosh, for some reason this challenge is going by WAY slower than the first challenge. LOL... I wonder why!

Active Challenge:
Set an alarm to go off every hour and stretch or move for at least 1 minute
Didn't do this one properly yesterday as I was actually busy running around in between meetings!

Exercise Challenge:
Take at least 15 or more minutes to perform the exercises shown in this Beginner Strength Workout
This one wasn't too bad so I thoroughly enjoyed it! Ia ua lelei keige strength workout


Flexibility Challenges:
Perform the following stretching exercises twice today:

* Hip Flexor Stretch
* Hamstring Stretch
* Lunge Stretch
* Chest Stretch/Ball
* Full Stretch

I tell you, I never really took these seriously until today but they actually help! I did them only once though so need to make up for that!


Nutritional Challenge:
Research one staple food item in your pantry or refrigerator and determine whether it's healthy or if you need to find a substitute
I chose pasta and found that I could go healthier with whole wheat pasta so I'll check that out next time I do grocery shopping


Mind/Body Challenge:
3-Minute Total Relaxation
Done.

Ummm I think it was my extra task which I set myself that was most challenging. (see below)

I went to dinner at a friend's house last night. She's a killer cook at that! I set myself the task to just go there, enjoy the food but not leave with a stomach that could give Santa a run for his money! (aka pa faavalevalea!) It was HARD because she cooked such great food that I just wanted to stuff myself with it! LOL. However, I did well except for the ice cream part! So yay for me!
