This one did it for me today. It's called Je l'aime a mourir by Francis Cabrel and one of my favourite French songs. I hadn't heard it in a while and when I did a few hours ago, I got teary eyed and mellow and thought... shat, this is a "true love song". Every word speaks of a love so deep it's indescribable. Ironic no? A'e! shat again, it must be that time of the month!
ANYWAY, I tried finding a decent translation of the lyrics but none come close to doing them justice so here's the most literal I could find along with the video. Damn French, no wonder they're known as the best lovers in the world!
